Asian glow 喝酒脸红

Asian glow refers to redness on the face or body experienced by some Asian people when consuming alcohol.

 

Asian glow指一些亚洲人在饮酒时，面部或身体皮肤发红的情况。

 

Asians have a different genetic¹ makeup² compared to other ethnic³ groups, causing the redness known as the "Asian glow."

 

跟其他种族相比，亚洲人的基因构成稍有不同，由此导致喝酒脸红的情况。

 

Although most with this condition view it as a minor⁴ inconvenience, it has been suggested that those with alcohol flush reaction may be at higher risk for alcohol related conditions such as liver disease, asthma⁵, and cancer of the esophagus.

 

虽然大部分人都觉得喝酒脸红是无关紧要的小状况，但有情况显示，喝酒脸红的人患肝病、哮喘以及食道癌等酒精相关疾病的风险更高。
