Of the 66 identified victims, five perished in the line of duty, according to the Information Office of the municipal government.

上文中perish in the line of duty就是“因公殉职”的英文表达，perish是比较正式的词，一般情况下可以直接用die来替代；另外，也可以用be killed in the line of duty来表示，如：The police officer was killed in the line of duty during a criminal investigation¹.（那名警官在进行一宗刑事案件调查时因公殉职。）

 

其他61位遇难者的死亡原因有：溺水（drowned），电击（electric shock），房屋倒塌（collapsed buildings），泥石流（flood debris），创伤性休克（trauma-induced shock），高空坠物（falling objects）以及雷击（lightning）。
