你会“查字典”吗？

        下面四个词组可以表示“查字典”的含义：         look up，search for，turn to及refer to。在使用时应该注意的是look up与search for的用法一致，即search for a word in the dictionary及look up a word in the dictionary/look a word up in the dictionary。而refer to与turn to的用法一致，即：turn to/refer to the dictionary。         请掌握下列例句： 　　look up： 　　If there are words you do not understand，look them up in the dictionary.如果你有不明白的词，可以查字典。 　　She looked up the spelling in the dictionary.她在字典中查了那个单词的拼写。 　　search for： 　　Do you know how to search for a word in the dictionary？你知道如何查字典吗？ 　　refer to： 　　He referred to the dictionary to get the exact meaning of the word.他查阅字典以了解那个词的确切意思。 　　turn to： 　　I had to turn to the dictionary for help.我只得查字典了。
