Chinanews, Beijing, November 13 – According to Chen Zhili, a state councilor of China, compulsory1 education in Chinese cities will be tuition and fee free in next spring, and Chen demand that local education authorities be prepared for the changes and make sure that the allocations will be properly used.

 

A report of the Ministry2 of Education reveals that Chen went to review the education system of Hubei Province on November 5, 2007, when she attended meetings discussing the situations of rural schools there.
