Graffiti exhibition to be held in Beijing

Chinanews, Beijing, November 1 – The first graffiti exhibition2 will be kicked3 off4 on November 8 at the Beijing International5 Exhibition Hall Square, to introduce6 graffiti to the general7 public8 as1 a new form9 of art.

 

There will be a special wall of 300 m long outside of the exhibition hall, and a special Olympic10-themed graffiti wall will be put up on the square, too. Visitors11 will be encouraged12 to sign their names on the wall or write down their best wishes for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

 

Professional13 graffiti artists14 will of course15 be invited16, to give an on-the-spot demonstration17 the visitors on how the art is done. Visitors will even18 be able19 to experience20 the art by themselves21.

 

There will also be many graffiti-related souvenirs22 for sale23, including24 T-shirts and skateboards25.
