Chinanews, Jinan, Dec. 19 – Hundreds of seagulls were found dead on the beach of Zhouge Village, eastern China’s Shandong Province.

 

The remains1 of these seagulls were found on December 16, which still kept white feathers and red claws without any wounds.

 

Relevant authorities reveal that all the seagull remains have been cleared away and samples have been made. A careful investigation2 shows that their death was not related to bird flu. Experts suspected that they were infected by a kind of mysterious disease. Further results have to be revealed in a few more days.
