　　The rabbit's long ears have two functions: The rabbit is easy to hear any noises made by the other animals which are going to harm the rabbit even if they were on their tiptoes. Another function of the long ears is to help itself keep the proper temperature. There are many blood vessels² in its ears. The blood temperature will drop with the air flowing. 　　

　　兔子的长耳朵至少可以从两个方面帮助它：它们可以帮助兔子听到微弱的声音（像食肉动物悄悄接近时发出的声音），并确定声音来自何处。另一个功能是帮助兔子散热。兔子的耳朵中有许多血管，当耳朵周围的空气流动时，温暖血液的温度就会有所下降。这可以帮助兔子调整其体内的温度。
