80% of Shanghai parents have courage to criticize themselves

Chinanews, Shanghai, September 19 – According to Shanghai Municipal Women’s Federation1, most of Shanghai parents have a more open ucation view than their forefathers2 and they appreciate the ideas and feelings of kids better, too. 80% of them dare to criticize themselves before their kids when in the wrong.

 

Shanghai Municipal Women’s Federation conducted the survey in 5 elementary schools and 2 kindergartens.

 

About 84.4% of the respondents say they will let kids decide for themselves, and 89.9% say that their children’s bedrooms are decorated according to the needs of the kids.

 

Most of Shanghai parents won’t force their kids to obey them. In return, quite a large number of Shanghai kids like to share their ideas with their parents.
