Shaolin Boxing enters schools

Chinanews, Zhengzhou, Aug. 7 – According to Henan Business News, pupils in Zhengzhou will start practicing Shaolin Boxing next year.

 

The local education bureau revealed on last Thursday that the teaching materials were written by Zhengzhou's Wushu Martial1 Arts Association. Nine elementary schools in Zhenzhou had begun to practice the boxing early this year. In September, the boxing will become a formal course taught in Zhengzhou's elementary school.

 

Some 300 teachers from 237 elementary schools in Zhengzhou will receive 3 days of trainings on Shaolin Boxing. Before 2008, all pupils in Zhengzhou will start learning Shaolin Boxing.
