包揽

英语中表达“一举获得、包揽、横扫”等意思的时候多用sweep表示，比如：

 

The team swept all five Olympic golds.

该队包揽了奥运比赛的全部5枚金牌。

 

Hong Kong cop drama "Infernal Affairs" swept the top prizes at the Chinese-language version of the Oscars in Taiwan on Saturday.

周六，香港警匪片《无间道》在华语影片的奥斯卡奖（台湾“金马”奖）上，包揽众多主要奖项。

 

如果想要加强语气，表达“完胜”的意思可以用clean sweep：

 

Chinese badminton team achieved an unprecedented¹ clean sweep of all Olympic golds when Lin Dan outclassed old-foe Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia to retain his men's singles title and Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng triumphed in the men's doubles final.

继林丹击败老对手、马来西亚选手李宗伟成功卫冕男单冠军之后，蔡赟和傅海峰又一举夺得男双冠军。至此，中国羽毛球队已包揽本届奥运会羽毛球比赛的全部5枚金牌。

 

此外，我们还可以用wrap up，bag等词来表示将金牌“收入囊中”这个说法。比如：

 

China bag/wrap up 5 gymnastics golds.

中国包揽了五块体操金牌。

 

我们还可以简单地用take来表示“取得所有”的意思：

 

Russian runners took all three medals in the 400 meter sprint² event at the European athletics³ championships in Barcelona.

在巴塞罗那欧洲田径锦标赛上，俄罗斯赛跑选手在400米短跑项目上包揽了所有3枚金牌。

 

句中的take还可以用get, win, claim等来替换。例如：

 

They won almost all the prizes at the Games.

他们几乎包揽了运动会的全部奖项。

 

每项比赛最后都会列出一个排名榜，比赛结束选手的名字就会被填入相应的名次栏，这像不像是在填写表格？来看例句：

 

Simon's works has filled out the top ranks of this year's best underwater photography.

西蒙的作品包揽了本年度最佳水下摄影照片的前几名。
