北京玉渊潭公园用上5G技术

Yuyuantan Park in western Beijing has become the latest test site for 5G technology, reports YNET.com.

 

北京玉渊潭公园成为5G技术的最新试验区。

 

5G services, provided by Huawei, have been activated¹ at the park to test connection speeds and help park staff process visitors and transactions more quickly during the Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival this week.

 

Yuyuantan, located just north of the CCTV Tower in western Beijing, is noted² for its cherry trees, which are said to be in full blossom thanks to the recent uptick in temperatures in the capital.

 

Beijing's Park Administration Center says the 5G services are providing faster online ticket purchases, faster QR code scanning for in-park purchases, as well as with security.

 

Thirty-one high-resolution AI cameras installed around Yuyuantan Park are now running on the 5G test network.
