Lady Gaga took to social media on Tuesday to shut down the rumors¹ that she is pregnant².

In a tweet that sent shock waves through her audience of fans, the Grammy and Oscar-winning performer indicated that she is working on her sixth studio album.

"Rumors I'm pregnant?" she wrote. "Yeah, I'm pregnant with #LG6."

The post was quickly met with excited replies showing kids freaking out and gifs of people fainting.

"Well give birth nowwww," wrote one fan.

"I'm ready mom #LG6," said another.

The post followed on from a tabloid³ report earlier this month that insinuated⁴ Gaga could be carrying a baby fathered by Bradley Cooper, her co-star and director for "A Star Is Born".
