China's leading dairy¹ firm has opened a factory in Indonesia, its first in Southeast Asia.

Mengniu plans to officially sell dairy products under its YoyiC brand in Indonesia starting on Saturday.

The factory is expected to produce 1,000 jobs within five years.

In its initial² operation, the Mengniu facility produces YoyiC liquid yogurt, probiotic drink and yogurt dessert.
